The Valley UCA doesn’t have a regular Sunday School time slot, however, they do provide a time for young people who come along with their parents, to learn about God. They have the opportunity to listen to the Bible Readings and take part in an activity during Worship. Near the close of the worship time, the young people are encouraged to share with the congregation about the work they have done.
The churches of the Pioneer Valley participate in the ecumenical Religious Education program that is offered in the state primary schools. Some of our members are Religious Education teachers within the schools.
Scripture Union employs chaplains through the Chaplains in Schools program. The Uniting Churches of the valley support the work of the Chaplains through the giving of funds and involvement of individuals within the various programs organised by the chaplain. Some members encourage the chaplain through involvement with the Local Chaplaincy Committee.
